Got my out of province inspection done here on my Tacoma, over all great experience. Bill was great, I really liked the digital copy of the report with pictures, and being able to get a loaner car.

Will definitely be coming back here for my regular maintenance.

We recently had some work done on our Chevy Silverado. The staff was amazing. Bill was on top of everything for our. They did the work and gave us a heads up on what needs to be done. They were very quick to return any calls. The professionalism in the place was outstanding. We will definitely continue to bring our vehicles here. Thank you for the excellent work.

I’ve been dealing with Gianni to have my (late) mother’s summer tires transferred to me in Ottawa.

Gianni has been professional and courteous, offering to assist in any way possible.

I had an out of province inspection completed today. The level of service and friendliness shown at Extra-Tech Automotive was amazing. Les and Bill in the office helped answer all my questions and I didn't feel like they were just trying to make extra money off of me like other places do. I was recommended to come here and I will continue to recommend others to come here for any automotive needs. What a great experience!

At Extra Tech Auto they make car maintenance and repairs stress free. They always explain what is going on, what they recommend and why in easy to understand terms. They embrace technology but never lose the human touch. I immediately received a text message with all the details about my vehicle, what is being done, what is being recommended and it’s always available to me to access. They are kind, personable and very helpful. They have a pleasant waiting area with coffee/tea and even give away fresh bread with each service. They also can provide loaner cars if you need to get things done while your car is in for service. Gianni and his team at Extra Tech are second to none and I highly recommend them for your tire changes, oil changes and all your vehicle repairs and maintenance.

I received great and proactive service from the moment I inquired to have my winter tires put on. Abriana promptly called me to schedule a timely appointment and along with owner Gianni, arranged for a ride to my office.

Check in with Bill was seamless and transparent. I received notifications by text message with observations and recommendations to keep my vehicle safe and running well and Bill followed up with a phone call to discuss these observations. Once service was completed, I was called promptly by Bill to schedule a ride back to the shop to pick up my vehicle.

I also received a fresh loaf of bread from the Calgary Italian bakery, even better seeing a local business support other local businesses.

Gianni and his team will take great care of you. I’m very happy with the service and will be a repeat customer. I highly recommend Extra-tech to others.

I hate dealing with car issues, it’s not my language. Extra tech has always been so awesome explaining everything to me and showing me photos of my car as they work on it. They’re super helpful and friendly and I genuinely enjoy their services!

I had an oil change and courtesy inspection done at Extra Tech Automotive, and they went above and beyond! Normally I go to Jiffy Lube or even get my little brother to do my oil changes, but the difference in service here is unbelievable.

Booking was super easy — the receptionist, Abriana, was kind, polite, and very helpful with fitting me in around my busy schedule. They even offered me a loaner vehicle to make things easier, which I really appreciated.

Not only did they complete the oil change, but they also provided a courtesy inspection with photos of everything. They even sent me a quick text so I could see for myself what was in good condition and what may need attention soon. Being able to compare the normal color of fluids to what mine actually looked like was so helpful and gave me peace of mind.

Afterwards, Bill along with Gianni (the owner) were both super helpful in explaining everything that may need attention with my vehicle. Their clear communication and willingness to go over the details with me was truly above and beyond.

This was without a doubt the best experience I’ve had with a mechanic shop in years. The level of care, communication, and transparency was beyond impressive. I will definitely no longer be going to Jiffy Lube or asking my brother to do my oil changes — Extra Tech will be my go-to from now on for anything related to my car.

I usually don’t write many reviews, but yesterday I had an excellent experience with Bill and Extra-Tech Automotive team,
team. I showed up unexpectedly with a leak in one of my tiresand they were extremely supportive,quick, professional, and genuinely helpful in answering all my questions. Overall, it was an excellent experience.

I’ve brought my car here twice over the last few years and both times have been completely blown away by the service. Kind, honest, prompt, affordable and helpful. They explain everything they’re doing and suggesting doing and provide many options for solutions. I’ve never felt remotely pressured into something (like I have with other mechanics). Highly highly recommend. I will never go anyhwre else now that I’ve found them.

Had my truck in for oil change and AC diagnostic.
Friendly environment, let me know a few other issues and whether they were critical or not. Loaner vehicle was a great plus.

I had my truck into two other shops and they were unwilling/unable to diagnose while Extra-Tech did.

Although they were unable to order the required part for the AC (older model), I was able to find the part myself and complete the repairs based on their diagnosis and I once again have cold AC after two summers of not.

I got nail in my tire but not flat, I googled tire repair place near me and called 3 shops, Bill from Extra Tech automotive pick up the phonon find a spot for me immediately. Bill was so patient and helpful. Eventually it turns out the nail was not deep enough to damage my tire and Bill tested the tire with bubble water and no air leak. Everything was fine and I didn’t get charged at all. I am very appreciate it and I will recommend all my friends for this shop 👍

These guys are AWESOME! I had a faulty starter and wasn’t able to use my vehicle for a couple days. Extra-Tech took me in right away and even provided me with a rental car to use while they worked on my vehicle. Sean gave great advice on car maintenance and went above and beyond to keep costs low. When I had issues with my rental, the owner Johnny showed up personally and restarted it as well as provided me with a new vehicle to get to work. I am very thankful I went with you guys!

Gianni and his team did an excellent job with a wheel alignment on my 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air. Perfect specs. Drives like a dream now! Will be coming back!

A funny story I was having a problem with my abs service light coming on I took my car to a shop buy my work to have it fixed they couldn’t figure out what was going on but changed me every time still couldn’t figure it out so I phoned bill at extra tec automotive told bill what was going on he said bring it down let us look at it he phoned me back a hour later to come and get my car it was done and changed me a quarter of the price what had paid at the other shop I just what to say thanks to everyone at extrac auto if you need everything done talk to bill or Jonny or Doris very nice people do deal with bang up job

Got some awesome service today, fitting in an older 66 Pontiac for some tires and an alignment. One of the reasons this shop is still going strong. I appreciate your help today Jonny !!

I only make reviews if the service authetic, and I had the pleasure of visiting them today. I am honestly impressed at how great their staff is. The mechanics are friendly, genuine and the office management are just as kind and welcoming. An easy 5- star review. Keep up the great work Gianni!

I used to think that it didn't matter where I got my oil changed, but since my valuable experience last week I realized that sometimes it's fortunate to be at a mechanic shop for an oil change. It turned out that something important needed to be replaced and they got the part in quickly and added that work on.

Got some winter tires. Gianni made things so simple and easy with the quote. I appreciated the extra TLC shown to my vehicle with the inspection and cleaning they did. I'll be a repeat client for sure!
